Great for recovering from foot ulcer. Not as “tough” as my old work boots but a great steel toe option for diabetics.Fit like a glovevery light weight boots but the padding could of been better inside the boot and there is none on the tongue the comfort gel inserts supplied don't do much for cushioning either I contacted the customer service and they were very friendly and willing to try and do whatever they can to make me happy currently they are sending another type of insert to hopefully help with the heel pain I'm having which could be just me but I was hoping these boots would have helped.My husband stands on his feet on concrete floors 10 hrs per day. He is a type 2 diabetic and I worry about his feet, he says these shoes are extremely comfortable and is hopeful that they will wear well for a long time.The boots are great, but we're to tight in the.heal.This boats will slip on oil. Not good if you work around oil. My husband is a machine op and if the coolant or get on the floor those boots slide.My husband was so happy to get these shoes. They fit perfectly and the deep toe box was what he needed. However, when he started to lace them, one of the eyelets to hold laces just fell right out. Two more looked as though they might soon do the same. These were expensive boots to have such shoddy workmanship. One expects to put a boot on and have it have all parts intact. The boot should wear well for a reasonable time, which could not be trusted since the very visable and necessary parts are not seen to by production.We returned the boots for a refund.My hubby has diabetes and he absolutely like these shoes especially when he has to work and get around in the shipyard
