Really like the style and look of these boots and they fit really well and my right foot fit in really good with my orthotics so all in all will give five stars.Best Shoes. I tried dozens of shoes. Best pair from last 10 years! Worth a lot more than what they charge! I am buying extra pairs in case they don’t become available later. I could write 1000 words. Rarely do I make a review. I’m so happy that they are in business and care for their customers!I work security so I'm on my feet 10 hours a day and walk 12 - 15 miles a shift. These are pretty comfortable even for big guy. The easy on and off was great, especially after a long night at work. However, the elastic laces didn't even last 6 days wearing them for work only. One completely snapped and the other is getting frayed. The laces are stiched in at the top making them unable to be replaced.EDIT: After sending a single message to explain the issue I had and requesting an exchange for a different type of boot they had the replacement shipped the same day and delivered 2 days later. These are very comfortable boots. I use them as duty boots and have modified them slightly to be all black. I bought the 4X size which is perfect for my 9EEE size feet. There’s hardly any break-in period and they are polishable. Something to note about these boots is the zero drop in the insole of these boots. They are basically flat on the inside, which takes away the stress of having your foot being shoved forward like other boots with a higher heel to toe ratio. The inside of the boot is approximately three eights of an inch roomier than other boots allowing you to put in your own insoles if you like with no crowding of your foot. I can wear these boots for 16 hours with no problem at all. It's extremely hard to find shoes when you are a 13 4E that actually feel good. We usually have to compromise and make the best of things, people likee know exactly what I'm talking about. For years now, Merrell boots were the closest thing that I found atleast for me, that I would consider "comfortable". Then I stumbled across these and although they are "orthopedic" I figured I'd give them a shot. From the moment I I slipped them on (the stretch lace system is ingenious) they were hands down the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. The stretch lace system although ingenious, hopefully will last as long as the boot, time will tell. Oh and it works, slip them on tighten the strap and your good to go. The only thing I did was put my own custom orthotics in, with a deeper cupped heel and firmer arched bottom (I have severely flat feet) for better support. I will say, they come with two sets of inserts, one the basic factory flat although thicker than most and their own orthotic brand that are extremely nice and by no means cheap. The were just a little too soft and not enough support for what I needed. Boot wise, the Craftsman ship and quality "so far" is outstanding with quality leather that you can snell as soon as you open the book. Steel rivited lace eyelets, double stitched etc. I do think the soles should have a little more "meat" but again time will tell and I might be surprised.. Make sure that you Waterproof them, I use the spay type and it gave them a slightly darker patina look(really cool). These also remind me of the early 1980s Dexter Hiking Boots that I loved, although an acquired taste while I was in high school. Bottom line "as of now" if you're picky as me, do yourself a favor and give them a try, I think you'll be pleasantly Surprised. On a side note, I wouldn't consider these "work boots" at least around oil, garages and the likes. Definitely could be a casual office boot, sales if your on your feet all day, truck driver, etc. I'll give an update in about 3 months about the longer durability and longer term comfort thoughts. I don't write very many reviews, but when I do it's because I either feel very strongly about the product.I have deformed feet so all types of shoes are extremely hard for me to fit into. I bought these because I wear their Winner X shoes and with only a little braking in they fit nicely.I have a very high instep. These boots have a tongue that goes all the way down to the toes. Allowing extra room in the instep. They come with elastic laces that are not adjustable so I cup them off and used regular laces. After a couple days in my shoe stretcher they were ready to wear.Ok looks like a work boot and after previously ordering the pit boss and the steel toe boot offering from Dr Comfort I can say the laces are an ornament. No actual laces you can tie. Also as with the other products, yes these are extra depth. What that really means is they sacrifice outer sole depth for inner sole space. Good luck if you step on a rock. Definitely will get a plantar bruise. Shoes are “fashion boots” not meant for a work environment. Will wear out quick. If an actual work boot is what you need look elsewhereTop shelf materials and construction for this day and age in this price range. Great fit (13 x wide) I have a narrow heal and wide metatarsal area, with high instep. The ankle strap truly helps. My custom inserts fit perfectly, and the inserts they included are very good, not some cheap foam. The boots, the inserts and the packaging were way above what I've seen except in custom shoe shops. Planning on a hike up around Lake Superior later this year, we will see how they perform. The shoe horn was a nice touch. Highly recommendI have been a long term user of Doctor Comfort boots and shoes following a recommendation by my Podiatrist. Sadly the current pandemic has meant finding suppliers in the United Kingdom made finding a replacement pair difficult. In desperation I tapped in Doctor Comfort on the Amazon search line and upped popped their complete range. My only concern was that the web page indicated that my order would by fulfilled by Amazon LLC in the United States - which left me in quandary as to whether I was going to be involved in a more complex or lengthy delivery process. I need not have worried just over a week later the boots turned up, Just a small point to note for UK customers US shoe sizes are different but there is easy conversion grid on the web page when you order.Shoes did not last 2 weeks before busting ! These shoes felt like seconds, strap adjustment on one foot was off and lace hook busted. On my card I was charged 291$ CAD. Price on Amazon.ca was 188$... I suppose it was customs and such ! Thought it was purchased on Amazon.ca. Was not informed of those fees. Besides I never got paperwork to get refunded since I've returned the shoes. I think this is a ripoff !Is this how Mr. Bezos is going to pay for his trip to the moon by screwing people up ? Don't forget to tell him to take his helmet off when he's up there and tell him to take a big breath of moon air ! Amazon c'est fini... kaput... adios Jeff !Inmejorable calidad, comodidad y estilo, lo recoLe dl como uno de los mejores calzados que he twnidoNice but little bit expensive
